A 2-month-old was seriously injured after a 10-year-old dropped the baby on a tile floor after a woman allegedly instructed the child via Roblox on how to kill the infant.

The girl told investigators she was terrified of Tara Alexis Sykes, 36, and that she believed Sykes would kill her if she did not follow instructions.

Tara Sykes allegedly also told the child to drown and scold the infant with boiling water, and to slit the throats of the adults they were living with

Tara Sykes allegedly used the popular gaming platform Roblox to tell a 10-year-old how to kill the infant, as well as the adults living in the house -- while court records reveal yet another disturbing and open case involving the woman's pregnant 14-year-old daughter.

I have been in law enforcement for over 40 years and have never seen anything quite like this," the county's sheriff said.
