After three long years, Xbox finally gave its proprietary wireless gaming headset a refresh. This iteration boasts the inclusion of Dolby Atmos, an extended battery life, an upgraded mic, and the new Bluetooth 5.

Microsoft is refreshing its Xbox Wireless Headset today, adding an upgraded microphone and improving the battery life. The refreshed headset will also support Dolby Atmos at no extra cost and Bluetooth 5.3.

Microsoft launched its Xbox Wireless Headset about three and a half years ago, and its competition has changed -- in every way -- since then. So Microsoft amped it up a little to keep it from looking quite so dusty. That goes for the price, too, which bumps up by $10 to $110.
